KCCA LEOPARDS GRIND A 51:49 WIN PAST A RESILIENT A1 CHALLENGE DISPLAY.
The rivalry between the two teams leaves alot to be desired and on this day nothing was about to change.
A1 Challenge set up a resilient defensive game which nearly paid only if the ladies maximized the points on the free point area.
They welcomed the services of Angie Lokidi who had been off followed a nasty ankle injury. She formed a brilliant partnership with Bazira Liz.
Flavia Oketcho of KCC had 16points.
Great game

A1 STRUGGLE BUT SEE OFF GLADIATORS.
If grinding results is such a descriptive phrase, then this game had alot of that written all over it.
The final score flatters to deceive because during the game-proper alot was not clicking for the Team A1 Challenge but somehow the ladies were determined to grab this victory by "fire or thunder".
By half time the score board read (29:7) and this score could have been stretched alot further if Team A1 had kept their feet on the gas.
Final Score (45:24)

GLADIATORS FACE AN UPBEAT A1 CHALLENGE TEAM
Barely two weeks since we ended the first round of the 2012-13 FUBA-Airtel Season and we are already "in-things" i should say. One colleague says perfection comes when you constantly practise an art over time.
Speaking of practise Team A1 Challenge has barely rested and this i believe has alot to do with the hunger for a second championship since the "good-old-days" of 2005.
Team Captain Ntale Vickie has been putting lots of pressure on the ladies to give nothing but their best and this is going to be seen tomorrow at 3:30pm when they come up against the Gladiators.
In the first round, the offensive duo of Birungi Mariam and Ntale Vickie sent the Gladiators defense back to the drawing board.
Afew hours from now, we'll see whether or not they learn't from the mistakes of the past.
Otherwise 2mrw Game One: A1 CHALLENGE Vs GLADIATORS @ 3:30PM

A1 CHALLENGE FACE THE GLADIATORS AS THE SECOND ROUND RESUMES
This Saturday at 3:30pm Team A1 Challenge face the Gladiators as the quest for the teams second championship resumes.
The camp is upbeat and have been in training through out the off season and we all hope it will help rid the wrinkles of unfitness amongst some particular players (hihihihihihi) ain't going to play the name and shame game.
Lets go hard ladies
