Boosted by the first win, confidence was oozing and the team sought consistency in their overall team game, however, in this face-off one would be inarguably right to say that the only important statistic was the final score.
A1 Challenge started off with Ntale Vickie, Ruth Meeme, Liz Bazira, Nikuze Stella and Suzan Amito and they slowly
picked momentum from where they left off on Sunday.
Nikuze Stella started the first half intent on making a statement and scored all her 10points in the first half.
By half time, A1 Challenge was leading in the score tally 30:15, but the second half began on a forgettable note, where
A1 Challenge went an entire 8 minutes of game time without scoring any point. KIU Rangers however clawed to single digits,
and a late resurgence brought day light between the two teams.
By the end of the second half, A1 Challenge held on to win the tie [47:39] and off to a perfect start with 2 wins in 2 games.
Next on the fixture list for A1 Challenge is Javon Ladies, the new comers who are off to make a statement in the top flight, having lost
their opener against KCCA Leopards, will seek to orchestrate an upset.
This tie will see A1 Challenge face off with the former guard in Ms. Nakazibwe Slyvia. Game time is 6pm at YMCA Outdoor Court on Wednesday
